The Network Information/Deep-sea software testing, evaluation, Research & Development Department (the NIDE R&D Department), currently under establishment, is affiliated with the department of Deep-sea Engineering Technology. Jointly initiated on July 3, 2019, by the Institute of Software, CAS, and the Institute of Deep-Sea Science and Engineering, CAS, the department focuses on developing scientific research and application systems. Its primary objective is advancing intelligent software development for marine equipment.
