Department of Deep-Sea Information Technology was established in December 2014. The department focuses on the acquisition, storage, transmission, processing, extraction and publication of deep-sea acoustic, optical, electrical, magnetic and other information from sensors. Besides, another important research direction is the development of deep-sea autonomous unmanned equipment and related technologies.
