About us

The Deep-sea Engineering and Testing Laboratory was established in 2014 during the preparatory stage of IDSSE. It serves as a comprehensive experimental support platform in the field of deep-sea science and engineering.

Focusing on national strategic needs. The laboratory provides systematic technical support and experimental services for deep-sea scientific research and marine equipment development .

The Laboratory currently has a professional technical team of 13 members and has established long-term cooperative relationships with multiple research institutes, universities, and enterprises in China, jointly promoting the development, verification, and standardization of deep-sea equipment. 

In 2021, the Laboratory was accredited by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) (Registration No. CNAS L15442), signifying international recognition of its testing and calibration competence.

Upholding the quality policy of “Fairness, Scientific Rigor, Professionalism, and Efficiency,” the Laboratory is committed to building a nationally leading and internationally advanced open platform for deep-sea equipment research and testing.
