 Its sensitivity for CO2 in Dual Inlet mode is better than 1200 molecules per ion. The standard collector configuration is the Universal Triple Collector. H2 collectors with on-line hydrogen capability are optional. The DELTA V Advantage delivers high performance in Dual Inlet and Continuous Flow mode. Excellent linearity is guaranteed with or without helium carrier gas flow.

Connecting the Elemental Analyzer FLASH IRMS to an Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometer allows for two-element analysis of C and N or H and O with a dynamic range greater than 1:1000.

The Thermo Scientific GC IsoLink TRACE 1310with combustion and high temperature pyrolysis is used for compound specific isotope analysis of complex mixtures separated on a capillary GC column. Determination of D/H, 13C/12C, 15N/14N and 18O/16O isotope ratios is possible for all mixtures accessible by the GC technique.

The Panorama, takes a completely new ion optical approach for these type of instruments, and is based on the ESA – Quadrupole – Magnet  design of Matsuda. Optimised for ultra-high resolution studies, whilst maintaining  high sensitivity, this design uses a magnet of 800mm radius, and has been shown to resolve all the methane peaks at mass 18amu, to permit the first truly sub permille measurement of, not only 13CH3D, but also 12CH2D2.
